Île d'Ambre & beyond
Five ways to reach the water.
Kayak, boat, on foot, at the table or under canvas — every expedition starts from Bain de Rosnay and crosses to Île d'Ambre. Pick one, or ask us to build a day around what you want.
Services
Choose how you cross.
Every trip launches from Bain de Rosnay, Rivière du Rempart. Prices and exact durations are confirmed on WhatsApp — group size and the tide both change the plan.

Kayak
Guided sea kayak to Île d'Ambre through the mangrove channels. Half-day or full-day, small groups, all gear included.

Boat trip
A calmer crossing by boat for groups who'd rather sit back and watch the mangrove go by, or who can't paddle.

Île d'Ambre hiking
A guided walk across the island itself — the old lighthouse ruins, the far beach, and views back to the mainland.

Table d'hôte
Dinner with a local family — home-cooked Mauritian creole food, table d'hôte style, arranged around your trip.

Camping
A night under canvas on Île d'Ambre — sunset paddle out, sunrise paddle back, gear and permits handled for you.
Photo session
A professional photographer joins your crossing and captures it as it happens — for couples and families, arranged on request.
Private trips
Want the island to yourself?
Private kayak trips, on demand — your own group, your own pace, timed around the tide you want. Tell us the date and headcount on WhatsApp and we'll build it around you.
